Volunteering at Filling Good

Filling Good is a co-operative which means we are relying on volunteers to operate. We are always looking for people who are passionate about sustainability to help in the shop, run workshops, or use their business skills to support the work we do.

If you'd like to become a part of the Filling Good team the first step is to become a member of our co-op. All members have the opportunity to volunteer their skills, vote at the AGM, benefit from discounts in the shop, and much more!

Filling Good is run entirely by local, super friendly volunteers.

Work Experience

We welcome work-experience students from the age of 13 years old and up. So, if you or someone you know would be interested in finding out more, then please email us at shopping@fillinggood.co.uk

Duke of Edinburgh Award

We welcome Duke of Edinburgh students to volunteer in the shop. This is a great opportunity to learn more about sustainability whilst supporting a community project.

The role will involve stocking up shelves, refilling dispensers, labeling of goods, etc. There will be some heavy lifting involved and the presence of allergens, due to the natural ingredients used in our products. Full training will be provided on food hygiene procedures and fire safety.

Shifts are normally between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm Tuesday to Friday and various times at the weekend.  We require your full commitment, and 48 hours' notice must be given if you are not able to do your shift. Otherwise, this will be recorded on your assessment.

If you'd like to find out more about volunteering, just drop us an email or pop into the shop, and we'll be happy to answer all your questions.
